A few words about myself:

I am a passionate, experienced educator, advocating for a connected learning pedagogical approach that prepares learners for life in a networked society. I have been a pioneer in collaborative online intercultural learning (starting in 2009) and have initiated countless cross-cultural virtual exchanges since then that have had institutional and national impact. Forever an innovator and educational leader, I helped develop virtual schooling for EFL in pre Covid times. This experience prepared me to be influential with the transition to distance learning during the pandemic- training hundreds of educators, and later with the introduction of blended learning and blended mobility in Higher Ed. Additionally, I have contributed to facilitating transformative processes for faculty development focusing on the acquisition of digital competencies, and the effective and thoughtful integration of technology in teaching, while cultivating digital literacy among learners.
