A few words about myself:​

I am a passionate, experienced global educator, advocating for a connected learning pedagogical approach that prepares learners for life in an evolving networked society. 

​

​An award-winning pioneer in collaborative online intercultural learning, I have championed global virtual exchange initiatives at all levels of edfucation since 2009. In the last decade, I have led Higher Ed internationalization projects advancing home and blended mobility - with institutional, national and international impact.

A long-standing leader in educational innovation, I have consistently advanced the meaningful integration of technology: developing virtual schooling for EFL before Covid-19, training hundreds of educators through the pandemic shift to distance learning, leading institution-wide adoption of blended learning, and driving mindful AI integration - upskilling faculty and shaping institutional AI policy.

 

As a techno-pedagogical coach, I have facilitated transformative professional development for educators - building digital competencies and implementing a Digital Pedagogy for the enhancement of teaching and learning, and the cultivation of digital literacy among learners. 

 

As a globally connected educator and leader, I have made a lasting impact in the international ELT community through my work with IATEFL LTsig, where I served as Editor-in-Chief of the newsletter for several years.
