A few words about myself:
I am a passionate, experienced global educator, advocating for a connected learning pedagogical approach that prepares learners for life in an evolving networked society.
I was a pioneer in collaborative online intercultural learning (COIL) in 2009 and won prizes for my work. Since then I have initiated countless cross-cultural virtual exchanges, and led internationalization projects for the advancement of COIL (including home or blended mobility in Higher Ed, that have had institutional, national and international impact.
Forever an innovative leader, I helped develop virtual schooling for EFL in pre Covid times, was influential with the transition to distance learning during the pandemic- training hundreds of educators. After that, I led institution-wide integration of blended learning and more recently of AI, capacitating faculty and helping shape comprehensive AI policy.
As personal coach, I have facilitated transformative professional development processes for educators, helping them develop digital competencies and implementing a Digital Pedagogy for effective and thoughtful integration of technology while cultivating digital literacy among learners.
I was also Editor-in-Chief of the IATEFL LTsig newsletter and member of its committee for several years, making a global impact in the ELT field through the curation of high-quality and helpful content.

I am an independent COIL/Internationalization consultant lately working with Higher Ed institutions and a techno-pedagogical and ELT coach. I am also a lecturer in Digital Literacy and innovative pedagogy in B.Ed. English teaching programmes; and a member of Global ED's Advisory Board. Additionally, I am writing a book on Digital Literacy for the English classroom to be published this year by Delta Publishing.
